Making a Corner Storage Bench
Corner storage bench – A triangular storage bench is a device that transforms the awkward corner space into a functional storage and sitting area. This project requires a bit more concentration than other projects, storage bench, because the bank must be able to fit in a corner without having an angled front. The angled front on a 45 degree angle to the wall. Other than that, this project can be done in an afternoon of basic construction lumber and plywood, and it will not be very expensive
Add a 24-inch board on edge and vertical. Place 2-inch boards on edge perpendicular to the end of the 24-inch board. The screw by 24-inch board and zoom in 22 1/2-inch board so you have a right angle corner, with the short sides to the corner measures 24 inches. Repeat this process with the last 24-inch and 22 1/2-inch boards. Cut the ends of each of these boards 45-degree angle with the circular saw, without affecting the 24-inch length from the corner storage bench. If the boards would stand on end with the corners of the ground, should the angled cut to lie flat.
Stand both pairs of boards on the ends of the cut. The boards should be parallel, and placed so the outside edges are 20 inches apart. Screw the 20-inch-by -24-inch sheets of plywood to the boards that make the corner. The 24-inch edges of the plywood should be flush with the edges of the 24-inch and 22 1/2-inch boards. These two pieces of plywood will fit into the corner of the wall. This is the frame for corner storage bench.
